It greatly increases your chances of NOT being in an accident and possibly remaining alive.

If you get a Speeding Ticket you can take Defensive Driving(also called Driver Improvement and Traffic School in some States) so you don't have to pay the full fine for the ticket (With permission of the court) Just a court fee Plus it takes the ticket off of your driving record, so your car insurance does not go up (You also get a certificate for 10 percent off the car insurance you already have) You can do it online or in person
