Question: Wouldn't it be a good idea to rule every public and private hospitals across the united states..?
(Posted by: Mildred Pervis on 2010-03-06 14:10:14)
Joining with local Churches and Christian religious organizations, to perform universal spiritual healing towards their dying patients, and emergency baptism exclusively to non- Christian patients? We could all go round and round in theological debates about whether baptism is necessary or ethical. but nevertheless, We are commanded to be baptized, as it was written in the bible: "Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. " —Acts 2:38 The benefit of making such rule constitutional: 1. More people accepting Jesus, 2. More people can be saved at the end of the day, 3. it emphasizes United States citizen's identity as children of God in one unified Christian nation. Please give me you opinion, God bless you Mildred |

If there was a country that wanted you, I would vote to deport. But at the end of the day, you could "emergency babtize " me. I doubt a forced baptism will save my soul from the eternal beating from Satan I was promised. And haven't you heard? The United States of America is a secular country, and has been for the last....OH WAIT! Since it was signed into existance. SECULAR, not christian. |

Hell no...!!! Most faith healings, especially when dealing with life or death situations, fail like 90% of the time... |

No. Hospitals are not religious institutions. |

I don't think so. And did you leave out 'euthanizing Jews' by accident? I'm sure you meant to add that. |

Just try it and see how far you get with your fanciful nonsense. This is just more evidence that religious faith is nothing more than a mind controlling disease! |

This is against the law and immoral. The united states is not a Christian country, it is a secular country. If you change that you will destroy your on religion. If you force people to be Christian, you eliminate the superior stance your religion takes and suddenly it will be obvious that morality does not come from religion. |

Actually, I'm quite certain that such a law would be entirely and blatantly Unconstitutional. Also, how would you like it if the tables were turned? "Joining with local Mosques and Muslim religious organizations, to perform universal spiritual healing towards their dying patients, and emergency conversion exclusively to non-Muslim patients? We could all go round and round in theological debates about whether conversion is necessary or ethical, but nevertheless, We are commanded to be converted, as it was written in the Qu'ran. The benefit of making such rule constitutional: 1. More people accepting Allah, 2. More people can be saved at the end of the day, 3. it emphasizes United States citizen's identity as children of Allah in one unified Muslim nation. Please give me you opinion, Allah be praised, Mildred " |

The first christian who tries to baptise me or tries to lay a hand on me when I'm in the hospital, dying or not will LOSE THAT HAND! I may be a citizen of these United States, but I'm no "child " of your pathetic "god " and there is NO "unified christian nation ". If you are so gung-ho to live in a theocracy, I'd like to suggest you move to some place like Saudi Arabia or Afghanistan. You'll just LOVE how religion inflitrates every bit of your daily life there!! This is a ridiculous and intrusive idea. |

My opinion... I am somewhat confused at how you can classify this as Christian... Isn't the Christian faith about accepting others? Wherever did you find anywhere in the bible that it is Christian to force people, against their wishes to convert? Isn't forcing people actually very Anti-Christian? And where is it written that Peter's words are a commandment??? A question for you: Do you think the question you asked portrays Christians in a positive light, or a negative one? |

Wouldn't it be even better if we never even needed hospitals, rest homes, nursing homes, jails or prisons, police or militarizes, funeral homes and graveyards and man made governments along with nationalism and greed, hate and racism, thieves and liars, adulterers and such.... As far as constitutional laws; one who accepts Jesus does the teachings of Jesus in his everyday life. They accept Jesus as the son of God and the teachings of what Jesus taught while on the earth. Satan knew and believed who Jesus was but that did not mean he was saved nor because many profess to be Christians and profess to know Christ Jesus doesn't mean they are saved from the day of God's wrath. Jesus said at Matthew 7; 20.... " Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.'...22- " Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? "....23- " And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. " The word iniquity means wickedness, sinfulness, lawlessness. So many that claim to be of Christ will be denied by him. Forcing the issues of knowing Christ does not save people. They must want to come to know about Almighty God Jehovah and his son Jesus Christ and by this new found truth of knowledge, love Jehovah and his son from the heart from men and women worldwide not just from the United States. God's kingdom will engulf all he has created which on man's behalf is the entire earth. His Kingdom will do away with all these kingdoms (governments) on earth and his kingdom will be an everlasting kingdom for God's true worshipers on earth. |

I'd suggest only if there were hospitals for each religion and Sect. (After all there are more Evangelical "Xian " Sects who refuse to recognise that Catholics are Xian.) Only I recall how the inventor of blood transfusions died because the closer "White's Only " Hospital would have refused to admit him. Treating an individual differently because of the colour of their skin, political persuasion, sexual preferences and religion is out & out Bigotry. All I can say is Shame Shame Shame. . |
