I would recommend Travel Insurance Web, and by reading their price promise, they offer excellent value travel insurance with high levels of cover. If you are looking for a policy to cover you for the year, then the Annual Travel Insurance policy maybe the one for you, prices start from £27.75. Hope this helps. |

It will vary, as to what you want in your 'package', your age, etc etc. You will need to ring around or check out the internet. Local insurance brokers will be able to help you to, look in your yellow pages, most cover all types of insurance, so should be able to help you with travel insurance. Search for travel insurance and see what comes up. I pay around £90, which covers me for ski holidays, general travel and overseas etc. |

The travel insurance through your travel agent is usually reasonable. |

If in UK, you should try the Royal Bank of Scotland Royalties Gold Account, it costs £12 per month but provides Free unlimited travel insurance and loads of other benefits (worth more than £12!) it's a great account. |

The price depends on your medical history, if you want to do any winter or dangerous sports and where you want to go, so we couldn't possibly answer this question. |

Don't just pick the cheapest. This really is a case of 'read the small print'. There has been some publicity of policies which didn't cover what you're most likely to need; e.g. compensation for a cancelled flight or ferry. |
